Baa Bahu aur Baby is all set for season 2 from 23rd August

Dedicated viewers of Star Plus' most popular show Baa Bahu aur Baby is finally coming back, as the Hats Off show is all set for Season two from 23rd August at 8 PM. The show will be a biweekly, which will be aired every Saturday and Sunday.

According to sources, "The show will have a new and fresh look, but the aroma will remain the same. The new story will kick-off with the most awaited and predictable wedding of Birju (Amit Verma) and Baby (Benaf Dadachandji), and after that story will focus more on their marital life The show is also being shot with a new set in place".

"The main cast of the serial will remain the same with the exception of Lubna Salim who played the popular character of Leela Bhabhi. She will be replaced by theater personality Anjali Mukhi".

Khwaish fame Yasir Shah is back with Balaji Telefilms

Khwaish fame Yasir Shah is back on Indian television, and will be entering Star Plus' Tuj Sang Preet Lagai Sajna for a small role.

According to sources, "His character name is Siddharth who is the friend of Ashish (Mayank Gandhi). As per the track, there will be a fight sequence between Vrinda and Ashish; and this is the time when Siddhath come in to solve matters between them".

Yasir is now backing from Pakistan, and he started shoting from yesterday
Yasir expressed his happiness at being back with Balaji Telefilms. He said "It's a great honor to be back with Balaji. As of now, my role is a cameo and I am happy doing it. I hope viewers will give me the same acceptance as they gave me before".

Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai will be launching mostly at a prime time slot on 27th July 2009

Shashi and Sumit Mittal's new show on Star Plus, Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai is on air, and the most recent development is that the show will be beginning on 27th July 2009. The show will be a new love story; the leads being fresh face, Neha Saxena and Kunal Bhatia. The show will also see the comeback of Vidya Sinha to television. Others in the cast include, Abigael, Sanyojita Bhave, Tushi Sharma etc.

According to sources, "27th July seem to be finalize for the launch of the show, but time slot is still not finalized.

However, future of three shows on the channel seems to be in danger right now!! There is a news that the show might take up the time slot of either 8 PM, 8.30 PM or 10 PM. This only means that the future of Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil or Sabki Laadli Bebo is at risk".

According to the ongoing story line, all the three above stated shows have a crisp and new track running; so there is a high chance that one of the shows will be shifted to the afternoon slot and give room for Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai.

According to our source, "Since Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai is a high budget show, with a large set erected at Kurukshetra it is very unlikely that the channel will give it an afternoon slot instead of a good prime time slot".

Bidaai and Yeh Rishta have been extended to 45 minutes each starting 8th July, and will go on till 14th July

According to the latest news, "Star plus’ top rated shows Bidaai and Yeh Rishta have a celebratory atmosphere with the weddings of Alekh-Sadhana and Naitik-Akshara coming up respectively. So the channel has decided to extand the period of both shows to 45 minutes starting from 8th July, and this 45 minutes special episodes will be seen till 14th July, 2009. As a result of this, Endemol Entertainment's Sabki Laadli Bebo which is aired at the 10 PM slot will be pushed to 10.30 PM".

In Bidaai, one can look forward to the interesting remarriage of Alekh and Sadhana while Yeh Rishta is focusing on Naitik's dilemma whether or not to marry Akshara.

After this small phase, Star Plus will be launching their new show Sach Ka Saamna on July 15th at the 10.30 PM slot from Monday to Friday..

Most popular host on SaReGaMaPa is back as host on Zee's SaReGaMaPa L'il Champs this week

It's a touching return for the tremendous singer and host Shaan as he got back to his roots, SaReGaMaPa after three long years.

Shaan who was once a well-liked host on Zee's SaReGaMaPa had left the show due to the split between the channel and the ex-management. Later on, he was seen hosting Amul Star Voice of India on Star Plus.

This week's episode of L'il Champs on Zee gives Shaan a warm welcome on the same stage that he had left three years back.

According to sources, "Shaan hosted the Friday's episode and the whole experience was reflective for him. He found it as a honour to be back on SaReGaMaPa and had great words to say about the little talents present on the show".

"Shaan was also amazed with the tiny kid hosts of this season, Afsha and Dhairya. He addressed them as little wonders and said that they were doing an amazing job as hosts.

He was very much stunned with the singing prowess of Kolkata's Shalini Mukherjee. "He not only awarded her with the Champ of the Day Award this Friday, but also gave her the opportunity of opening Saturday's episode along with Shaan, and they were seen singing on the number 'BumBum Bole' from Taara Zameen Par.

May be Shaan will be seen hosting few more episodes of SaReGaMaPa L'il Champs.

Garima Bhatnagar and Meenal Penser to enter in Star Plus Tuj Sang ...

Star plus ‘ Tuj Sang Preet Lagai Sajna, produced by Balaji Telefilms will be taking a three year leap on 7th July.

To give brightness to the story line post leap, there will be two new entries who will turn out to be vital characters in the show.

According to sources, "Garima Bhatnagar who was previously seen in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Veeranwali will be making her return back to television after her wedding. Garima enters in the show as the parallel lead. Her existence will sooner or later affect the lives of all others. Meenal Penese on the other hand is a negative character, and will make life difficult for Vrinda, who is married to Rajbeer. Their entries will be aired on Tuesday".

Garima play the character of Babli, who is the younger sister of Rajbeer (Sandeep Baswana). She is a very optimistic character, bubbly in nature and is a working woman. Basically she runs away from marriage, and this is the only cause for her to stay away from home and seek out a job. She believe that until she finds a right guy in her life, she will not give her heart to anyone.

Garima is in very simple look and seen in suits which have flairs. She has open hair and looks the typical working woman".

Star Plus, Tuj Sang Preet Lagaayi Sajna is now all set for a three year leap

After the successful six year leap ofStar Plus' Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Balaji Telefilms is now all set for a three year leap in their after noon show on Star Plus, Tuj Sang Preet Lagaayi Sajna.

According to sources, "The production house has invest a huge amount on the revamp of the sets and towards the new looks of the lead cast. Around 15 lakh has been spent for the shoot of the first episode alone. The leap will be taken coming Tuesday, 7th July".

"Yug played by Kunal Verma will have a typical business man look while Pooja Bose aka Vrinda will more or less appear in the same look.

Priya Bhatija in Star Plus show Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil

Jay Bhanushali and Panchi Bora whose onscreen coupling has been appreciated by audience have miss the bus yet again, as the latter will now not be part of Star Plus' Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil, as reported earlier.

According to sources, "All was finalized with Panchi, and she was place to begin shoot from tomorrow. But things could not be worked out as she got to know that she had to journey out of country for one of her commitments".

Confirming her unavailability, an upset Panchi told, "I missed a golden opportunity of getting back to the best production house, Balaji. Only after I agreed to play the role in Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil did I get to know that one of my ad shoots got advanced. I have to travel out of the country tomorrow for that particular shoot; so could not manage my dates for Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil".
